Connections

is rooted in a vision of filling a critical and necessary gap: discussing and building meaningful relationship and life skills support for neurodivergent individuals, Autistic people, nonverbal communicators, and others with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

& to build learning containers for educators, caregivers, organizations to better show up for their students, clients, and community members.

For neurodivergent, Autistic, people with IDD

Our
Mission

R.E.A.L. Connections is committed to building a space that center and uplift the needs of people with disabilities who have been pushed aside, invisibilized, and othered by traditional learning spaces.

Here, people are allowed to show up exactly as they are. A growing and learning space free of judgement, where clients are met where they are. An open space where clients are invited to ask questions they have,
to build life skills they are struggling with, to build upon skills that they would like to strengthen, and to co-hold the complex realities of the lives they live.

The world we live in is complex, as are we.

Neurodivergent, Autistic, people with IDD have been historically been under supported.

Let’s change that.
